Zulu One - Science Made Easy

Zulu One is a system that provides the industrial battery operator or maintenance facility with a: One System One Solution, process to optimize industrial lead-acid batteries. Previous methods for repairing and optimizing batteries heavily depend upon human labor factors and experience to measure individual battery cell characteristics. This requires technician training, experience and skill levels when determining the corrective action to be applied to a battery. Thus, the technician based battery optimization process is only as good as the technician providing the service. The Zulu One process, by contrast, substitutes the technicians decision-making process with a computer controlled battery optimization technique.

The Zulu One system consists of a specialized, Patent Pending electrolyte probe used to collect raw cell data, a computer interface circuit board that electrically isolates each individual cell channel during the data sampling process, a computer based software program that collects, converts and processes the raw data into a useable and calibrated data set, and finally, the software means to analyze and interpret the data set into a unique cell rating system called Q Function. Zulu One also has the means to control external devices such as battery chargers, load testers, and other external devices based upon the operators requirements.
